Major Marina Development Planned for Metung : Real Estate Source ...
Paynesville developer Riviera Properties is to develop a major marina in Metung, about 300 kilometres east of Melbourne, near Lakes Entrance. The project will include a major wet berth marina and resort day spa, and take advantage of views of Gippsland Lakes. A golf course, restaurant and bar is already part of the development.
The first stage includes 100 one-acre residential lots, and a selection of waterfront townhouses that will have their own berths on King Lake. The smallest blocks, of about 550 square metres, start at $115,000.
Metung is on a narrow peninsula, within the Gippsland Lakes, which separates Bancroft Bay from Lake King.
