BLOOD TRANSFUSION

Blood transfusion is a medical treatment that replaces blood lost through injury, surgery, or disease. The blood goes through a tube from a bag to an intravenous (IV) catheter and into your vein. Blood transfusions are necessary when there is an illness that causes bleeding, destroy blood cells, or needed because of injury or major surgery. Medical research confirms that life is in the blood. There are different opinions about the length of time a person can live without blood. Some believe it is as little as 1 minute while other suggest as long as 5 minutes. The point is you will not live long without blood.

Leviticus 17:11 11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. Jesus stated John 6:53 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

When a person receives a blood transfusion, he has a new opportunity for life, for healing to take place in his body. He will be able to continue to live but this is a physical change. His nature, thoughts, desires and motives are not changed because of this blood transfusion.

Sin has contaminated the bloodline of man. It is necessary for man to have a blood transfusion if he desires to experience life . Man's blood transfusion is a temporary fix but Jesus' transfusion is an eternal fix.  Any person who has not received this blood transfusion is a walking dead person. Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins.

There is power in the blood of Jesus to change the inner man  according to 2 Cor. 5;17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away ; behold , all things are become new. Old things, which is to say past sins, generational curses and generational sickness. There is power in the blood of Jesus to change and regulate the thoughts and working of the mind. Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. There is power in the blood of Jesus to bring about healing in the body. Psalms 103:1-4 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. There is power in the blood to cleanse and deliver from anything that has you bound. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
